She has 14 years of teaching experience. She started off as an EFL (English as a Foreign Language) teacher and was successful in preparing foreign students to sit for the English IGCSE. This success has led Nazya to have taught international school children from over 20 embassies in Malaysia in English and Literature subjects.
Her students have earned places in prestigious universities all over the world, including Oxford, LSE, Cornell, NUS, Seoul National University , summer programs in Harvard and NUS as well as distinctions in writing competitions such as the Commonwealth Essay Competition.
She does not believe that age holds anyone back and has tutored students as young as 13-year-olds to take the English IGCSE and SATs as private candidates as well as receive the ASEAN scholarship. Nazya believes teachers must have a passion to ensure learning in a dynamic, fun and engaging classroom. Having always had a flair for writing, her passion is to inspire a love of reading, writing, confidence and creativity in children and young adults.
